We are excited to invite you to our upcoming DEI-related workshop: Impostor Phenomenon – Successful by Luck or Competence?

Impostor Syndrome refers to the persistent feeling of self-doubt regarding one’s abilities and performance. Individuals experiencing this phenomenon often feel like intellectual frauds, fearing that their success is merely due to luck rather than competence, and that they will be “exposed” at any moment, despite their clear achievements. Although it’s most commonly associated with high-achieving individuals, it can affect anyone who struggles to attribute their success to their own skills and efforts.

Workshop Goals:

The workshop will feature both a presentation and interactive activities, including 1:1 and small group exchanges. Participants will engage in practical exercises designed to encourage self-reflection. We aim to create a supportive environment where participants can share openly, receive constructive feedback, and strengthen their self-confidence. Gender-sensitive language will be used throughout.

Details:

This workshop is open to CRC 1225 ISOQUANT students (Bachelor, Master, PhD) and postdoctoral researchers. The session will be held in English.
