Celebrate International Women’s Day with us! For continuation of our series “Women in Physics” we join forces with Marie Eickhoff and Luisa Pfeiffenschneider from the podcast “Behind Science”. In a Live-Podcast, they will tell exciting stories behind the experiences and discoveries of female physicists from different generations and we want to talk about the successes and hurdles of women in physics from then until today. Afterwards, we invite you for a joint discussion about the current situation of women in science, in which active female scientists of the faculty will share their insights. At the end of the event, there will be a get-together with champagne and snacks. We start at 6 pm on the 8th of March in the Hörsaal 2 of Kirchhoff-Institute for Physics.
This event is open to everyone interested and admission is free – so feel free to invite your friends! The lecture and the panel discussion will be held in German. We are looking forward to seeing you there!
