The CRC 1225 ISOQUANT cordially invites you to an artist talk and panel discussion on the intersection of art and science, taking place at Café Leitstelle Heidelberg (DEZERNAT#16) on Tuesday, November 25, beginning at 7:00 pm.
Since 2021, the ISOQUANT SciArt project has been fostering a dialogue between fundamental quantum research and contemporary artistic practice. One key component of this initiative is a three-month artist residency, where invited artists become part of the collaborative research environment, engage with scientists, and gain direct insight into ongoing research within the CRC.
The current resident artist is Elisa Storelli, a Swiss-Italian artist whose work focuses on Chronomorphology—the artistic investigation of time. This residency is organized in collaboration with ArtHub Copenhagen.
To mark her stay, Elisa Storelli will present her work, followed by a panel discussion with:
- Prof. Dr. Matthias Weidemüller, Professor of Quantum Physics, Heidelberg University
- Dr. Jacob Lillemose, Curator, ArtHub Copenhagen
The event will be held in English, and free refreshments will be provided. The event is open to all members of the university community and beyond, and no registration is required.
We warmly invite everyone interested in interdisciplinary exchange to join us, meet the artist, learn about her practice, and explore the fascinating connections between artistic and scientific research.
We look forward to seeing you there!
