Title of Talk: Many-body phenomena in Quantum Chromodynamics

Abstract: High-energy nuclear collisions are the unique way to study the many-body physics of the non-abelian gauge theory of the strong force—Quantum Chromodynamics. These collisions allow us to learn about the non-equilibrium phenomena emerging from strongly interacting quarks and gluons. Cold-atom experiments are an alternative way of studying far-from-equilibrium gauge theories. In this talk, I will do an introductory discussion of theory and phenomenology of QCD thermalisation in heavy-ion collisions and will draw parallels to cold-atom experiments.
