Title of Talk: Collisions in a quantum gas of bosonic 23Na39K molecules
Abstract: Heteronuclear ground-state molecules, with their large electric dipole moments, are an excellent platform for the investigation of fascinating dipolar quantum phenomena. In this talk I will present the coherent creation of bosonic 23Na39K rovibrational ground state molecules by utilizing Feshbach molecule association and subsequent stimulated Raman adiabatic passage (STIRAP) to the ground state. I will discuss both atom-molecule and molecule-molecule collisions including the origin of loss processes in a cloud of chemically stable 23Na39K molecules. Furthermore, I will present a method for suppressing molecular loss using two optical photons at Raman resonance.

Venue (HYBRID-EVENT): Goldene Box, Physikalisches Institut, INF 226, 69120 Heidelberg AND all talks will also be streamed via the permanent Zoom-link:
