After studying physics in Heidelberg and Taipeh, I finished my PhD thesis in atomic physics in 2021. I worked on an atom counting experiment in the group of Markus Oberthaler, where we count single atoms of Argon to gain information about environmental physics. The interdisciplinary nature of the experiment requires bringing different fields of physics together, just like the groups of Isoquant. In addition to doing research, I love doing science communication. I regularly participate in science slams, where I can talk about my work in front of in interested audience. In 2019, I cofounded the Science Pub Quiz, an event, where people, regardless of their background, can talk and discuss about science related questions. The quiz, which takes place in a cafe in Heidelberg as well as online with a livestream, attracts about 100 people every month. We also offer quizzes as private events in different cities, institutes, and companies. At the Isoquant, I stand at the interface between science and the general public. I organize events and curate platforms that allow the scientists of the Isoquant to broadcast their research. These may be art exhibitions, talks, pub quizzes, or any other event.
