I am a PhD student in project A02 and started my PhD in December 2024. I am originally from Sardinia (Italy) where I did my bachelor’s studies before moving to Munich for my bachelor thesis. I came to Heidelberg for my master’s, where I worked on charm quark dynamics in the QGP — and I loved it so much that I decided to stay for my PhD! Outside of physics, I enjoy jogging, playing the piano, and taking care of my plants. I’m also vegan and passionate about creating spaces where everyone feels welcome and respected. Inclusion in science is a big issue today, and I’ve noticed that women and international researchers often face extra challenges. Joining the DEI committee felt like the right step to do something about it and help make our environment a bit more open and fair.
