Description

This proposal focuses on the detailed study of quantum field theory and hydrodynamic descriptions of quantum many-body systems. It aims to explore fundamental questions about entanglement, entropy, and non-equilibrium evolution and the loss of information and emergence of thermalized states through entanglement. Key to our research is the development of experimental techniques to prepare and probe quantum systems, particularly preparing states close to quantum vacuum.   We aim at studying connection between quantum field theory and hydrodynamics and explore how progressive coarse graining and entanglement lead to the emergence of classical physical reality.
