Equal Opportunities, Diversity and Family Friendly Working Environment
The CRC 1225 is strongly committed to gender equality, diversity and creating a family-friendly working environment at all levels of employment and seeks to advance the following central issues of concern
Raise awareness of the importance of equal opportunities among the members of the CRC
Active career support for female scientists at all levels
Increase number of female students
Compatability of family and career
Early Career Support
PhD students and post-doctoral researchers play a decisive role within the CRC 1225. Creating efficient structures to support early-career researchers is essential for the promotion of scientific qualification and independent academic work. Stable working conditions and environments are crucial if qualification objectives are to be met. Apart from academic training schemes targeted to individual needs and qualification objectives, the CRC 1225 support structures for young researchers at all levels also focus on strong international networking and early scientific autonomy.

Public Outreach
Public outreach plays a major role for IsoQuant - on multiple levels. By offering seminars on different aspects of science communication, we ensure that people have the knowledge to talk about their work to a general public. We support and run multiple events, such as the media produced by Many Body Physics and the monthly Science Pub Quiz. A large collaboration between science and art, presented in collaboration with the artist collective Kalamari Klub, completes the program.
